Real Reviews From Caregivers
Wandering Alerts
Create geozones, circular perimeters, around the addresses. When GPS SmartSole® enters or exits these specified areas, the portal sends alerts via email & text. You can customize which caregivers receive which alerts, and you can pause some geozones while others are active.
-
Remote Access Monitoring
Use any computer, tablet or smartphone to view location history on a map. You may share your login name and password to the MetAlert Monitoring Portal if you choose. Multiple caregivers can log in at the same time!
-
No Contract Service Plan
Like a smart phone, GPS SmartSole requires a data plan for connectivity to update its location on a map. This data plan includes your account on the MetAlert Monitoring Portal, Smart Locator App and alert notifications sent to you.
What Else Do I Need To Know?
Coverage Areas
GPS SmartSole® works in covered areas across all 50 states using 4G cellular networks. Plan to test your GPS SmartSole® for connectivity for a day for two before use.
Will SmartSole® work in my area?
Even in areas with cellular coverage, connectivity can be affected by buildings and terrain. You must test your GPS SmartSole® for satisfactory cellular connectivity, before trimming or wearing it. Test your GPS SmartSole® by carring it by hand, in a bag, or in a car. Charge the right GPS SmartSole® and verify that it reports on the Portal. Carry the right sole through the primary areas where the wearer may travel. Verify that location reports are received regularly and locations are accurate.
